Director of Data Management
Jens A. Lange obtains and manages all resources to execute study data management obligations in pharmaco-epidemiology studies at ZEG Berlin. He is supervisor of all technical aspects concerning management of study data.
As part of this he leads the data management team with an overall responsibility on resource availability and allocation as well as all measurements on project performances by using appropriate tools and systems.
He is passionate about Data Science in Public Health, digital data collection methods, Big Data projects and technical development of study conduction in epidemiological studies.
Jens A. Lange studied media technology at the TFH – University of applied sciences in Berlin and completed advanced courses in database programming at the Berlin academy CIMDATA. Jens joined ZEG Berlin in 2008. Until now, he has been the responsible data manager for more than 5 large non-interventional multicenter studies with active surveillance with a total of more than 120,000 participants in 18 countries, some lasting up to 10 years.
