Divine Akumo

Medical Writer

Divine Akumo, in his role as Medical Writer at ZEG Berlin, coordinates and assists in the strategic development and writing of safety reports, protocols and other writing tasks in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

In his previous role, Divine was a Medical Science Manager at QiP GmbH where he managed the writing of clinical evaluation reports (CER) for medical/ in-vitro diagnostic devices and safety reports on drugs.

Divine completed his PhD in Molecular Genetics at the Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany. Thereafter, he attended the PAREXEL Academy, Berlin where he obtained clinical trial management (CTM) and clinical research associate (CRA) postgraduate certificates. Divine has worked as a Medical Writer for CROs and pharmaceutical companies across a broad spectrum of clinical and post-market safety studies with a focus on women’s healthcare, cardiovascular diseases, oncology, inflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases.

We are a partner centre of the ENCePP scientific network which is coordinated by the European Medicines Agency. We are dedicated to excellence in research by adhering to the ENCePP Guide on Methodological Standards and promoting scientific independence and transparency. We register studies in the ENCePP E-Register of Studies, a publicly accessible resource for the registration of pharmacoepidemiological and pharmacovigilance studies.
