Senior Consultant
Alfred Pauls is a senior consultant to ZEG Berlin, providing independent strategy and industry insights to ensure all studies are compliant with industry and regulatory needs. Alfred oversees legal aspects and quality management, assisting with internal and external audits in order to strengthen the capacity of the ZEG Berlin workforce.
Alfred served as head of Portfolio Management and Health Research in Gender Health Care at Schering AG (Germany) and was a board member of the UK affiliate Schering Health Care Ltd and the Wilhelm von Humbold-Foundation. He teaches sexual medicine at Charite University Hospital’s Institute of Sexology and Sexual Medicine and provides clinical expert advice to the Berlin state ethics committee.
Alfred earned his medical degree from the Freie Universitaet, Berlin and Oxford University, Oxford. He trained in internal medicine and specialized in sexology and sexual medicine
